With the launch of the "Callisto 6" series on Geek & Sundry, I kind of reckon there might be interest out there for an online character generator for The Cypher System. And, from what I can tell, there actually isn't one out there currently. (If you know of one, feel free to post a link in a comment.) So, I am working on rectifying that state of affairs. Expect to see an initial version of my Cypher System character generator published in a couple of days or so.
The underlying code will be based on my existing Numenera 2 Character Generator, obviously, but there are some key differences with TCS as compared to Numenera. The biggest difference, from the perspective of generating new characters, is that the foci are restricted by genre in TCS (e.g. Conducts Weird Science is available in Modern or Sci-Fi, but not in Fantasy). Genre isn't a thing in Numenera since Numenera is its own genre. Anyway, that's the big thing that will take a little time to code.
Also, there are Flavors. I tentatively plan to launch the generator without Flavors (since they are an optional rule anyway), but am planning to add them later; don't worry.
