About This Here Blog

This blog is a repository for my mediocre fiction, bad poetry, and whatever other incoherent chicken-scratchings that enter my deranged mind to be written.

The blog's pièce de résistance is probably my novelization of The Tears of the Gods. Or at least it's the longest thing here (over 50,000 words total, and probably not even halfway to the end).

However, the most visited page by far on this site is the Numenera 2 Character Creator. Alone, it accounts for about half of the site's total page views. There's also a vanilla Cypher System Character Generator, but it doesn't seem to be anywhere near as popular.

I also write short fiction. Some of the stories originally posted here have been removed because they have since been published in physical, dead-tree books, which is just peachy-keen if you ask me, and who wouldn't want to ask me? (These are all also available as eBooks, of course). The anthologies my stories appear in are below...

Short stories that no publisher will touch remain on-site. Currently, that only includes Ja'ek and the Beanstalk.

What's that you say? You like poetry? Well, you probably won't like poetry any more after you get a load of my unreadable tripe.

Lately I've also been writing about Scrabble and Words With Friends.

The only other thing I can think of that might be of interest is that time I translated H.P. Lovecraft's short story "The Doom That Came to Sarnath" into Esperanto. That was kinda fun. (I have strange notions of what constitutes "fun".)

  1. Nice blog. Using the Cypher character builder and will probably be back for scrabble tools and to read your novel.
